Family Tree Help
There are two main ways to navigate through the family trees that are represented
here:

Surnames
Here is where we list all the family trees represented on our
site. It is the starting point for viewing information on a
specific surname. Family stories, related web links and the
family tree are all accessible from this area.
- Search
This is were you can look for a particular individual of
interest. Once the person is found, you can view there family
tree.
Below I have provided our family tree as a starting point and to explain how
to navigate around the tree if you are having difficulty.

Explanation
The persons name in the box with the dark blue title represents the starting
point for the particular tree you are viewing. This name should match
the title "Family Tree for ...".
To the left of this box is this persons parents. These have been
provided to allow you to move back a generation.
The boxes to the right are the persons children followed by their children
and so on. Up to eight generations can be view at one time on a single
page.
To move the tree to a particular person click on the underlined name and
the tree will now represent their family tree.
To switch the tree to an ancestors view, click on the
beneath the persons title. This will change the view so that the boxes
on the left are the persons children. The boxes to the right will
now represent the parents of the person followed by their parents and so
on. Up to eight generations can be viewed at one time on a single
page. To switch the view back to the family tree, click again on the
beneath the persons title.
To see details about the person, such as place of birth, death, and
individual comments, click on the
beneath the persons title.
If you have been given an access code, you can unlock and view private
information by providing this code.
If you have been given a password to update your family tree, you can edit
the person's information by clicking on the
beneath the persons title.
